MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress towards Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received a Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for 2017. The album he released as his debut ADN was released through La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. The album peaked at the rank of eighteen on the Top Latin Albums charts. In the following year, he joined Ozuna for the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel and her Dopamina album in the same year. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit single Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was born into an musical family. His older brother and mother are each musicians. According to him, music was an integral part of his life. When he was a kid, he began learning to play saxophone guitar ukulele and piano. At first, he wanted to become an vet but when his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons with the help of a Cuban singer, he altered his goals for his future career.
